El Plasencia City Council has focused on Los Pinos Park with a comprehensive improvement plan that is progressing in phases. The next stage includes safety measures and renovation work to improve the park's usability, comfort, and maintenance, reinforcing its role as a green lung for the Pilar neighborhood.

After a first intervention already carried out, the council is preparing a new series of works that will be addressed from the video surveillance and access control to the modernization of lighting and the rehabilitation of trails, with an eye toward more efficient management of the space and the care of its fauna.

Security and access control

What has already been done in the first phase

The initial phase, with an investment of 38.000 Euros, focused on urgent fine-tuning actions for the proper functioning of the space.
