Constance has kicked off the reconstruction of Anacaona Park, an action promoted by the Ministry of Tourism with an investment of RD $ 23,440,291 destined to modernize and reorganize this public space emblematic.
The initiative aims to strengthen sustainable tourism, boost the economy of the municipality and improve the experience of those who use the park daily, thus serving a historical demand of the neighborhood from Constanza.
What the park renovation will include
The design includes a central gazebo with wooden floor, new rest areas with concrete benches and a network of inner paths on tablets designed to facilitate the movement and coexistence of uses.
To ensure the universal accessibility are expected ramps and support railings at key points in the park, next to steps, while the renewed lighting will improve safety and use in the evening hours.
The project integrates landscaping with planters, trash cans and the installation of a pigeon aviary, in addition to the replacement of sidewalks and curbs to organize the urban edge.
