Succulents

The crass, or succulents not cacti, are extraordinary plants. To survive, they do not store water in their bodies like cacti, but rather in the leaves, which have become fleshy as they have evolved and adapted to places where rainfall is very scarce, with the majority of species originating in Africa.

Under these soil and climate conditions, and thanks to this amazing survival strategy, during the dry season they can survive for several days. But this should not confuse us: When we grow them in our homes or in our gardens, they need a series of special care to be able to grow, and one of them is irrigation.
